Welcome to The Health Logic 👨‍⚕️

Health advice is everywhere these days.
One person says “take supplements.”
Another says “avoid everything.”
The Search Engine says one thing. Social media says another.

This page was created to simplify all that confusion.

Here you’ll find practical, science-based health information explained in a way that actually makes sense — without fear, hype or complicated medical language.

Topics include:
• Nutrition & supplements
• Everyday health mistakes
• Medical myths & misconceptions
• Preventive health
• Real clinical thinking from daily practice
• Things nobody usually explains properly

The goal is simple:
To help people understand their health better and make informed decisions with clarity and logic.

I’m Dr. Rajeev Tilak, and this page is my small effort to make medical knowledge more practical, honest and useful for everyday life.

If you enjoy thoughtful, evidence-based health content, you’re welcome here 😊

Vitamin D with K2

It is recommended to use K2 along with vitamin D since they work synergistically for calcium absorption in the body. Vitamin D3 improves calcium absorption from the intestines into the bloodstream and vitamin K2 helps to move the calcium into bones and teeth and avoid deposition in soft tissues like arteries. The combination helps in bone density and strength and helps avoiding osteoporosis, age related bone loss and fracture risk.

Use under medical supervision especially if you are on blood thinners since K2 can interact with drug's blood thinning effect, if you have an underlying kidney disease, if you have hyperparathyroidism, or known to have vitamin D toxicity, and tendency for kidney stones.

It is always advisable to get your lab tests done regularly to monitor the blood values of vitamin D in the body to avoid overdose and toxicity since vitamin D is stored in the body.

Always consult your primary care provider or qualified nutritionist while using supplements.

Recommendation of brand I have personally used:

Carbamide Vitamin D3+K2

PEA-RICE Protein Powder

For those seeking a clean, hypoallergenic, and effective protein source, pea‑rice plant protein powder with a complete amino acid profile is emerging as a strong front‑runner. It is a good alternative for those who want to avoid gluten, milk or soy as a source of protein.

Rice protein is higher in methionine but lower in lysine while pea protein is rich in lysine but low in methionine. When combined, they complement each other for the missing nutrients, providing all nine essential amino acids. The combination carries a low risk of common food‑allergen reactions. This blend is easier to digest and less likely to cause bloating or digestive issues for gut-sensitive people. It is a safer choice for lactose intolerant and autoimmune gut issue patients.

It helps promote fullness and thus assists in appetite control and also supports muscle growth and recovery similar to whey protein.

It is good as a breakfast add-on, evening snack or even as a post workout supplement.

Some good brands available which I have personally used as a suggestion are:

Earthful Pea-Rice Protein

Cosmix Pea-Rice Protein
